website:Corazon Ministries Corazon Ministries began in 1991 as a non-denominational missions project to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ within the context of culture and community in Tucson’s Hispanic and other ethnic populations. What started as small Bible studies in the home of Mike & Claire Alameda, is now a full scale outreach program touching the lives of men, women and young people on the city’s south and west sides. Corazon Ministries works closely with established area churches to complement their evangelistic outreaches. Additionally Corazon Ministries offers cross-cultural training to groups interested in reaching out to other ethnic communities.
Mike's birthday is Aug. 29th, Claire's birthday is May 7th, and their wedding anniversary is Dec. 27th UPDATES: As summer is winding down Corazon Ministries is involved in various committees with leaders from around the community. We are involved in planning and scheduling for fall city- and nation-wide conferences and trainings designed to encourage and strengthen believers from all backgrounds and walks of life. We are excitedly looking forward to these events that will take place in Tucson and around the country. Corazon enjoys participating in uniting the body of Christ. Because of the relationships that have been established through the years within Hispanic and other ethnic populations we have the privilege of assisting and facilitating at these various opportunities by bringing an understanding of culture and community to the forefront and providing bilingual translators and volunteers. For all the pastors and ministry leaders serving the Lord, and for their marriages and families. 2. For Mike & Claire as they minister to the individuals and couples coming to Corazon in need. 3.
