The Gospel Rescue Mission was founded in 1953. The Gospel Rescue Mission serves the homeless and needy by providing for their spiritual, physical, emotional and mental wholeness through the power of Jesus Christ. In addition to providing emergency shelter, food and clothing, there are many Community Ministries at Gospel Rescue Mission to meet the needs of the homeless, poor, and needy men, women and children of Tucson.   This year is our 60th anniversary in ministry in Tucson.

Praise

• We are planting a new Gospel Rescue Mission in Prescott Arizona this year. Things are moving quickly and smoothly as God has been opening the doors and directing this project.
• God continues to transform lives of men and women, as they move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Prayer

• God’s direction and provisions for that new Mission in Prescott.
• For additional volunteers for a variety of needs at both centers.

Reach Out Ministry meets every other Monday (beginning January 14, 2013), 1-4:00pm -- FLC Room 101. If you know how to sew, knit, or crochet and have time to spend with a special group of young ladies this is a wonderful opportunity for you. The 3 main goals for Reach Out is to provide young girls with godly Titus 2 women as mentors; to teach girls and young women the almost forgotten home arts; and lastly, to provide those who are more needy than us with homemade necessities.
