"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God." Philippians 1:9-11 NIV
Welcome to the Women's Ministry at CCC. We'd love to have you join us!
We are an Elder-led chuch with each ministry being directed by a pastor or director. Our women's ministry is led by Jennifer Beauchamp, Director, jbeauchamp@ccctucson.org and Paula Stark, Asst. Director, pstark@ccctucson.org, with a Women's Advisory Board consisting of 10-12 women from all stages and ages of life. Our desire is that older women would encourage the younger in their walk with God through each stage of life. (Titus 2:3-5)
Our mission is to equip and encourage women of all seasons of life to pursue a daily relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in God's Word and to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our goal is for women to demonstrate God's truth to the world by living lives that are biblically accurate, personally pure, family-centered, evangelistically bold and socially responsible because of the existence of Jesus Christ and His work in their life.
We also desire for women to build authentic friendships with other women. To accomplish our goals, we offer a variety of ministry and service opportunities for women to plug into and get involved in. We invite you to check out, not only what's listed here, but the information pages listed under Women's Ministries. I'm sure we have a place for you!
- If you are a mom and wanting to get connected with other moms, check out our Moms Connection.
- Our Special Events are designed to provide opportunties for women to cultivate friendships thru special times of fellowship. Check out what's coming up!
- Are you wondering how to find the perfect place for you to serve and "get connected?" Check out Network Connections.
- Do you own a small business or work out of your home? Dynamic Women Networking's goal is to bring women together and offer encouragement to help them be successful. Check here to see when the next meeting is!
- Many women get hurt and suffer from hidden wounds and painful memories as a result of living in a fallen world. But God's original plan for humanity included spiritual, emotional, physical and relational wholeness. Healing Ministries has a number of excellent studies and groups available to you where you can find healing through the study of God's Word. These are confidential groups with qualified teachers.

... demonstrate the Truth thru Encouraging One Another
Me? A mentor? I don't think so ... well, think again! Mentoring can happen anywhere women meet. Just think of anything two or more women can do together. When women get together and share their stories, they nurture and encourage each other. It's fun! Not time-consuming, not expensive. You don't need to have an endless supply of wisdom or know the Bible inside & out. You just need to be available, ready to listen & share, and willing to walk through life situations with another person.
Reach Out Ministry
Mondays, 1-4:00 pm – FLC Room 101
Ladies, we invite you to come and invest time in the next generation! If you know how to sew, knit, or crochet and have time to spend with a special group of young ladies, this is a wonderful opportunity for you. The 3 main goals for
Reach Out is to provide young girls with godly Titus 2 women as mentors; to teach girls and young women the almost forgotten home arts; and lastly, to provide those who are more needy than us with homemade necessities. For more info, call Jordan at 885-2393. You can visit the Reach Out website at

Join other women in the Apples of Gold nurturing program — as a mentor or as a learner — and you’ll be blessed as you grow together in your love for God, your family, and others. This is just a 6-week commitment. As you meet, mature women mentor younger women through:
- Topical Bible studies based on Titus 2:3-5
- Cooking demonstrations and sharing a meal
- Encouragement to be the woman God has called you to be
The next Apples of Gold session is scheduled to start in the January-March timeframe. If you would like to be in our next Apples of Gold group as either a mentor or a learner, please contact Barb Kern at 465-1183. To learn more about Apples of Gold, click here.
New Beginnings…a sisterhood of women helping other women who have lost their spouses. When a woman has experienced the loss of her spouse she finds that her life has to be redefined. Recovering from the losses of life is a challenge at any age but starting over during the retirement years makes the challenge even greater. This is a caring, sharing group who meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for fellowship and encouragement

Each Thursday from 9-10 AM you are invited to join this gathering of women in the Library to pray for the needs of our church family and staff. If you have questions, please call Patti Hancock at 296-8048.
Ministry Meals
Are you looking for an opportunity to serve? Whether you like to bake a few cookies or prepare a meal or purchase both, this ministry could be just the opportunity you were looking for to reach out and serve the body of Christ. In times of crisis (funeral, surgery or illness) families need special help. Ministry Meals at CCC provides food (whether homemade or purchased) to our church families in such times. The more volunteers on this ministry team, the fewer times you would be called to serve. If you would like to be included in this ministry, call Charlene Wittrock at 749-5141.
The ministry is expanding and is in need of individuals who would be willing to either:
- Provide food for someone recovering from surgery, an accident, or serious illness
- Provide food for a memorial or funeral service
- Help set-up for a memorial or funeral service here at church
Make Ahead Meals
Is the local pizza delivery outfit on speed dial? Do you rely on drive-thru fast food, expensive restaurant meals, or packaged convenience foods? Make Ahead Meals is your answer! We will offer 6 different entrees for you to purchase and assemble in our kitchen. As part of our ministry of reaching out to others, we ask that you donate one of your entrees back to the church to use in the Ministry Meals. The next scheduled date for 2010 is Thursday, Sep. 16.
