Getting Involved

It is vital for every believer to use the spiritual gift that God has given them to help strengthen the body of Christ (Rom. 12; Eph. 4; 1 Cor. 12-14; 1 Pet. 4).

As stewards of the time, talents, and treasures that God has entrusted to us, one of the ways that we can give back to the Lord is through service. There are many opportunities to serve at Christ Community Church and we are always open to starting new ministries. Almost every ministry listed on this website welcomes volunteers. Contact us if you would like to learn more about your spiritual gifts and finding a place to serve. Be a blessing to others in response to God's grace in your life.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1 Pet. 4:10-11)

There are many ways to be active in ministry or service. Take a look at the dozens of areas you can get plugged into on the ministries link. There are many others that are going on, but we wanted to highlight these on the website.

We appreciate your interest in getting more involved in the ministry of CCC!  There are so many different kinds of ministries taking place on our campus and around the community on a weekly basis.  If you are not careful, it may cause you to begin to feel overwhelmed.

This is where the Volunteer Form can be helpful.  This is a tool that we have designed that will help you make the transition from active attendance to active participation in the ministries of our church body.  By your taking time to download and fill out this form, you are helping us to understand more fully how the Lord is presently using you and how we, as a church family, may use you more effectively in the future.

Please take a couple minutes to download this form, fill it out, and return it to the church office as soon as possible.  You can either, print this document and return the completed hardcopy to the office, or download, complete the form on your computer and e-mail to the church office.

If you have any questions along the way, do not hesitate to ask.
