Sojourners is an active and enthusiastic group of married and single senior adults (50+) whose purpose is to share and grow in our faith as we enjoy life together. We aim to be equipped and empowered to go into the world as disciples of Jesus Christ while serving through His Body, the Church. We strive to make everyone feel at home and our Bible instruction times are non-threatening and enjoyable.
Bible Study
10:00a.m. in FLC Gym On the first & third Thursday of each month. (Sept-April) We meet for Bible study and discussion of God's Word with Pastor Tim Arrington.
Fun & Fellowship
10:00a.m. These fun-filled activities are usually held the fourth Thursday of the month from Sept-May and almost every week from June-Aug. This is a non-structured opportunity to enjoy one another while playing a variety of games or chatting over coffee and snacks.
Monthly Socials
One day each month is reserved for potlucks, picnics, and day-trips to various local attractions Overnight Trips: We board the CCC bus, and we're off for an excursion to a scenic area. We have journeyed to the Grand Canyon, the Verde Valley, Sedona, Los Angeles, and San Diego. We have even gone to the Caribbean, Alaska and the Panama Canal! These trips energize our spirits while we enjoy devotions, fellowship, and the beauty of God's creation.
